It is Pumpkin Time in Lexington!Saturday, October 2nd Farmer's Market 
10-1pm at the Lexington Municipal Pavillion 
October is here and we have all the winter squash, pumpkins, and potatoes
that you are wanting as the first frosts hit our mountaintop!  Also, the pot roasts, sausages and chicken that you want for that slow-cooked stew in October!

Paul Dwon will be at this market with freshly harvested September Honey and if the weather is good, he is bringing the observation hive!
Gayle Hoffman will have a table of spectacular knitted wool wear; sweaters, vests, scarfs and gloves
Will and Caitlin from Van Dusens, our new general store in Lexington next to the post office, will be serving cold brew and available to talk about all the great things that they are going to carry in the store this Fall!  Come down and meet them.  They definitely want to meet their neighbors.
Our market table will have RSK Potatoes so you will need to get some of those this Saturday and we will also have Mushrooms from Bullich and a Harpersfiled local Cheese selection.

Newton Farm Collective will bring the newly harvested  Pie Pumpkins, Winter Squash, Carrots and Beets, Kale, Kohlrabi, Garlic, Onions, Mesclun, Braising Mix, Heads of Celery, Sage, Hot Peppers, Cabbage, Organic Sprouted Rye Bread, Hot Sauce, Kimchi, Smoked Onion Jam, and our year-long, aged West Kill Apple Cider Vinegar made from only apples in our valley.  It is special!   
Heather Ridge Farm has fresh organic pastured Beef, frozen Chicken in whole birds and pieces, Italian Sausages and Chorizo, many artisanal local cheeses, great prepared foods from their Bees Knees Cafe, Maple Syrup, Granola, locally roasted Coffee, and as always, much more!
JJF Farm has all of the locally raised Black Angus you've come to love: Filets, T-bone/Porter house, Skirt steak, NY Strip, Rib eye, Flank, Flat Iron, London Broil, Chuck Roasts, Brisket, Eye Round, Top Round, Short Ribs, Kabob and Stew, Oxtail and Ground Beef.  
See and Be Kitchen has Wood Fired Sourdough Breads in Boules and Loafs made from all local flours/grains, artisan Focaccia Pizza, their famous Sticky Cinnamon  Buns, and this week's special, a Salted Caramel Apple Croissant.  
Phoenicia Soap is bringing their two new soap bars, Caffe Cocoa Mint and Palmarosa Pink Grapefruit.  Along with all of the skin care creams and salves, Beard products and Hair Care soap bars;  all made with local botanical extracts.
Mossy Stone Farm will have a full table of their root vegetables, greens, herbs, fennel bulbs and more!   

Join us this Saturday 10/2 to celebrate all that our region has to offer from it's hard working producers and farmers!  The season is nearing it's end so you will want to stock up on all of this bounty!
