August is upon us and I don't know about you, but I'm happy to report no rain in the forecast!! The corn is tall and beans are growing just fine.  There may even be a tomato siting this market!  

Our Pop-up Special Vendors for this August 7th:
  • Paul Dwon with plenty of Honey, Beeswax Candles, Hand turned Honey Dippers and an Observation Hive for viewing bee activity!!
  • Gayle Hoffman with handmade knitwear: sweaters, vests, gloves
  • Sally Rothchild Pottery https://www.sallyrothchildceramics.com/ with her hand thrown stoneware bowls, cups, platters and more.  Check out her beautiful website to see all that she will have to offer
  • Might Moon Medicine by Josie Pellham with wildcrafted herbs and mushroom medicine, foraged and made on from our Catskill mountains with love and good intention!
All of our regular Market Vendors are excited to bring their August Bounty! And we will be selling plenty of Story Farm fresh CORN, Bullich Mushrooms, Harpersfield Cheeses, and local eggs from our market table!
  • Trop Pops with their frozen fruit dipped in dark chocolate on a stick, pineapple, mango, banana, and kiwi
  • Phoenicia Soap Company with hand and hair soaps infused with local botanical fragrance, a special poison ivy soap bar, cosmetics galore with creams, lip balm, salves, serums and hydrosols.  
  • Adam and Alice Cross with all things Maple from their farm
  • See Bee Kitchen with wood fired sourdough breads, and the last of the seasons Apricot Croissants,  Pepperoni & Jack Cheese Croissants, and Roasted Veggie Croissants with Scapes & Cheddar
  • Heather Ridge Farm has newly processed fresh pastured organic beef in steaks and many other fine cuts, sausages, bacon, and plenty of frozen chicken in whole birds and pieces,  Lots of local cheese to choose from, and pastured chicken and duck eggs, AND MORE.
  • JJF will be present with their Black Angus pasture raised beef in ribeyes, NY strips, stew meat, kabobs, short ribs, ground beef and patties and MORE.
  • Newton Farm Collective has got lots of freshly dug organic purple and pink potatoes, carrots, beets, radish, kohlrabi, cukes, beans, summer squash, broccoli, and plenty of greens.  Also, a Cucumber Mint Shrub, Farm made Raw Apple Cider Vinegar with infused herbs, Sourdough Seeded Rye bread, pickles, and our wildcrafted bitters and tinctures
  • Mossy Stone Farm will have their usual array of organic veggies with greens, beans, lettuces, herbs, fennel, cucumbers, maybe some early tomatoes, carrots, beets and MORE!
Come out and support your local growers and producers and makers!  They are working hard to be the backbone of our region!
